The first step in submitting students for the Arkansas Civics Exam, is to identify the person at your district or building that has the ability to run the “APSCN Arkansas Civics Exam Student File” report. Specific instructions for running the report will be made available once the user is registered.
Each district will assign a Civics Exam Coordinator for each 9-12 building where the exam will be administered. This will be accomplished by filling out the Arkansas Civics Exam District Point of Contact form provided by the Arkansas Department of Education. The form will initially be sent to all District Testing Coordinators. They will need to provide all of the required information within the form so Team Digital can create their account and provide support for submitting students. After their account is created, they can begin sending their Cognos reports to populate students. Note: Specific instructions are located inside your portal labeled: How to submit your roster.
Students will be associated to the teacher identified in the report. Teacher accounts will be created automatically based on the report submitted by the district. Teacher’s will receive login information and instructions as the accounts are created. Each teacher will also have their own instance of the exam.
Note: Please allow 24 - 48 hours to process your roster (Monday - Friday).
If a school receives a new student, they would need to run the Cognos report and associate the student with their teacher and follow the instructions for submitting transfers.
Note: Specific instructions are located inside your portal labeled: How to transfer your students. The system will either create the new account and enrollment for the exam, or transfer an existing student to another teacher, as reflected in the Cognos report.
Note: Please allow 24 - 48 hours to process your transfer (Monday - Friday).
